For many children across Western Australia, access to quality books is out of reach.
But together, we can change that.
When you sponsor a Box of Books, you’re not just donating stories—you’re delivering joy, confidence, and opportunity to WA kids who need them most.
Each box is hand-packed by The Literature Centre with a curated selection of children’s books suited to their age or reading level. We then work with teachers, cultural leaders, and community partners to make sure those books land directly in the hands of kids in low-ICSEA schools, libraries, youth centres, and community hubs.
These stories don’t sit on shelves—they come to life in classrooms, at kitchen tables, and in young imaginations across the state.

How It Works
- You choose your gift: From a single story to a whole classroom’s worth.
- We pack the box: Each one filled with quality books and small surprises—like bookmarks, stickers, or a note of thanks.
- We deliver it where it matters most: To kids who might otherwise miss out on the magic of reading.
Simple. Local. Life-changing.
