Following the latest COVID restrictions announced for schools, our team has been hard at work devising a new and exciting delivery of our Young Writers Collective program. We are now offering more options than ever to present the program to your students, featuring our planned line-up of authors. In order to make the program as accessible as possible for your students, we are offering the three following options:

Live stream workshops

Workshops will be streamed live from The Literature Centre via Vimeo between 9:30 am - 2 pm. Supervising teachers only need a computer and internet connection to access the workshops as well as a screen from which the students can watch the presentation or alternatively students can watch on from their own devices.

There will be possibilities for students to participate in Q&As and polls if they have access to laptops or tablets. You will receive a link to the stream ahead of time.

Video recordings

For the students unable to attend the workshops face-to-face or via live stream, we will be recording the sessions for them to watch in their own time 48 hours after the live stream.

We are also pleased to continue welcoming students to the Centre for the Young Writers Collective in Fremantle. Please note that all staff and presenting authors who work at The Literature Centre are fully vaccinated. Our latest COVID plan is available to download at the bottom of the article.
