The Literature Centre is a registered charity, donating to charity is a wonderful way to support your community, and it also has tax benefits recognized by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). You can claim charitable donations as tax deductions on your tax return.

Donations to The Literature Centre of $2.00 or more are tax-deductible, by retaining your receipt, you can claim your contribution as a deduction at tax time.

Creative Australia: Plus 1

From February 1st to May 31st 2024 we’re aiming to raise $35,000. If we reach our donation goal, Creative Australia will match it, meaning every dollar you donate is doubled!

This funding will help us continue to deliver programs like The Sound of Picture Books, which nurture a love of reading, writing and illustrating.
