As the end of the financial year approaches, it’s a meaningful time to support the causes that matter most. This year, we’re inviting our community to make a tax-deductible donation to The Literature Centre and help create more opportunities for young people across Western Australia to discover, create and share stories.

The Literature Centre supports young people through creative programs in reading, writing and illustration. Working with Australian authors, illustrators and educators, we create opportunities for students to build confidence, develop their creative voice and connect with literature in meaningful ways.

Every gift, big or small, helps us continue this work. Your donation can support one student to take part in a creative learning workshop, give a young writer a place in our Young Writers program, or help bring an author or illustrator-led workshop to a whole classroom.

Your gift can help make a real difference:

$15 can support one student to participate in a creative learning workshop.
$35 can give one young writer a place in the Young Writers program for a term.
$140 can support a young writer for a full year of the program.
$350 can bring a whole-class creative learning workshop to a school, including travel.

These experiences give young people the chance to explore their creativity, build confidence and see their own ideas as stories worth sharing.

The Literature Centre is a registered charity with Deductible Gift Recipient status, which means all donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible. Donations are made securely via PayPal, and you will receive an instant email receipt once your donation is complete.
