Entries will open for the annual Randolph Stow Young Writer Awards on the 28th of April, and will remain open until the 4th of July.

The competition is for students Year's 3 to Year 12, who live in the Midwest and Gascoyne Regions, and is divided into two categories of poetry and prose.

Each category is allowed a maximum of eight winners with the first three places receiving prize money and a certificate. One of the prizes on offer is for two students from Year 6 to 11 to receive a pass to attend the The Literature Centre's Young Writers Program in 2026.
