Celebrate Love to Read Local Week with Meg Caddy at The Literature Centre!

Every time you open a book, you’re taken on an adventure. Sailing the high seas, battling dragons (or befriending them) and exploring uncharted worlds, all from the comfort of home.

But this is a night where we bring the adventure out of the page! So put on your adventuring boots and join in on the fun with #LoveOzYA swashbuckler Meg Caddy as we celebrate Love to Read Local Week.

This event is suitable for all ages.


What’s involved?

Snacks!

Adventurer’s get hungry, so of course we’ll have a variety of sweet and savoury snacks on hand.

Games!

Battle it out in teams to see who can win against legendary sea monsters, in a Dungeons and Dragons inspired mini-game.

An AMA (Ask Me Anything) with Meg Caddy!

What is Meg’s strategy for a zombie apocalypse? Do they prefer tea or coffee when writing? What are they working on right now? Bring your burning questions for Meg in this candid chat.

There is free parking available on the grass outside the Literature Centre.
