Lise Griffiths

Creative Learning Associate

Lise Griffiths brings a strong background in education, literacy and the arts to her work supporting young readers and writers. A qualified teacher with a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood), she has extensive experience across early childhood and primary settings, including working in high ESL school environments and with children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Her practice is shaped by a strong interest in reading and literature, alongside a commitment to the explicit structuring of writing and helping students develop clarity, confidence and agency with language. Lise has also worked in literacy-focused contexts with high-school-aged students, supporting the development of critical and creative responses to texts.

Alongside her teaching, Lise has undertaken undergraduate studies in photography and brings a long-standing engagement with the visual arts to her approach to literature and learning. She is particularly interested in visual literacy and visual and multimodal texts, and enjoys exploring how image and text work together to create meaning and enrich storytelling.
