Schools Invited to Join Storytelling on the Road in 2026

Published on Monday, 23 February 2026 at 2:01:24 PM

Up to five primary or secondary schools in Western Australia, with an ICSEA of 950 or below, will be selected to participate in this fully funded program.

Delivered in partnership with Healthway and SEW-Arts, Storytelling on the Road embeds social and emotional wellbeing through storytelling and creative practice.

The program is designed to strengthen student voice, connection, and confidence through meaningful artistic engagement. Each participating school will be matched with a professional creative artist or storyteller suited to their students, ensuring a dynamic and impactful experience.

Working alongside one of our highly experienced teachers, we will collaborate with your school to design and deliver workshops across multiple year levels, either as an intensive program of up to five days or spread over a longer period.

The project aims to engage First Nations and CALD teachers and artists to ensure learning experiences are culturally safe, relevant, and responsive.
