This year’s Celebrate Reading program takes a deeper dive into the world of stories and real life conversations for young people and not so young people about the things that are hard to talk about.
The conference will enrich your understanding of the process of writing and storytelling for young people. It is a unique professional learning experience for teachers and librarians and will also appeal to writers, artists and book lovers.

Don’t miss this outstanding line-up of presenters. This year the conference will be held at a new and fully accessible venue, The Fremantle Town Hall. We have also partnered with Paper Bird to host our dedicated conference bookshop. Registration includes;
- Presentations, panels and intimate conversations exploring key issues, themes and genres in Australian fiction and nonfiction for young people including picture books, fantasy, magic, history, dystopia, cultural and self identity, body image, privilege, power and consent.
- Two full days of sessions and catering, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea on both Friday and Saturday.
- Ample book signing opportunities with all presenters. Generous delegate bag and inclusion in prize draws.

Shared Registration $330 - two people from the same organisation attend one day each. Both tickets must be purchased in the same transaction.
Purchase Tickets
This year we will not be offering paid parking at The Literature Centre. We encourage ticket holders to take public transport where possible. If this isn't an option, paid parking can be found at FOMO Car Park located at 22 Henderson St, or Collie Street Car Park located at 25 Collie St.
The Literature Centre recognises the WA Companion Card and will issue cardholders with a second ticket for their companion at no charge. Please email us at bookings@thelitcentre.org.au prior to purchasing your ticket to receive a code for a Companion ticket to use at checkout.

SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship entries to pre-service and early career teachers will open soon. If you purchase your ticket and then find out you have been a successful applicant we will reimburse your ticket price in full. If you have any questions please email us at info@thelitcentre.org.au
PROGRAM
Our team is currently working on an engaging two-day program. Once complete we will link the program here and ticket holders will be emailed the full program. All sessions will be held at The Fremantle Town Hall from 9AM to 5PM.
