Young Writers Collective

The Young Writers Collective is our face-to-face program.

It offers an open and encouraging space for young writers and creatives to learn from award-winning Australian WA authors and meet a group of like-minded young people.

Given some COVID restrictions in WA, we're offering more program delivery options for registered schools and students.

We will continue to offer the program face-to-face at the Centre on select days, as well as having the option to join in an interactive Livestream Workshop, or ask about Young Writers Online.

Depending on year level, in 2022 students will work with: Cristy Burne, Aska, Alexander Thorpe, Meg Caddy, Mark Greenwood, AJ Betts, HM Waugh, Holden Sheppard, Kate McCaffrey, Kathryn Lefroy, Brian Falkner, Mark Smith, James Foley, Davina Bell, Will Kostakis, and Kirli Saunders.
