We are now working in partnership with Paper Bird to support artists in WA to launch their publications.
Our organisations are working together to bring creativity, books, and art to families and the community. Paper Bird is a dedicated children's bookshop and story house located on Henry Street in Fremantle.
The specialist children’s bookshop stocks quality books, focusing on Australian writers and illustrators. Indigenous stories feature strongly at Paper Bird with local writers and illustrators from Magabala Books and Fremantle Press having dedicated shelves.
In 2023 Paper Bird will work with us to create a pop-up bookshop for our annual Celebrate Reading Conference and Storytellers Festival in October.
