Perth Festival Events with us in Fremantle and Joondalup - Feb 2021

We're delighted to be presenting Literature and Ideas in Joondalup and Fremantle as part of the 2021 Perth Festival!

In February 2021, we're offering a range of talks and conversations with a fantastic mix of genres and 'first time authors' at the Joondalup Library and at our Centre in Fremantle. 

ūüď£¬†Important Update!¬†ūüď£ As advised by Perth Festival, our Literature in Joondalup events scheduled for 8-11 February are POSTPONED until the week of 22 February. The Festival will be in touch with all ticketholders to advise another¬†date.¬†SEE DATES BELOW...

Joondalup Dates and Schedule 

Time: 6pm for 6.30pm start.  Duration: 60 minutes + book signing.

Location: Joondalup Library, 102 Boas Avenue, Joondalup 



Monday 22 February - Yuot A Alaak - Father of the Lost Boys   

Tuesday 23 February - Sophie McNeill (Now via Zoom*) - We Can't Say We Didn't Know  

*Due to unforeseen circumstances, Sophie must travel to Canberra to meet with the Foreign Affairs Minister. She will still join our 'In-Conversation' audience live via Zoom. Sophie has signed her books and will be available for sale.

Wednesday 24 February - Alexander Thorpe - Death Leaves The Station 

Thursday 25 February - Holden Sheppard - Invisible Boys

Given the venue size, you can also just register on the night!


Fremantle Dates and Schedule 

Time: 6pm for 6.30pm start. Duration: 60 minutes + book signing

Location: Alternative venue!  East Workshops in Fremantle Prison. See Map HERE.  

Due to delays with restoration works in our Old Hospital building, we're moving within the prison to an alternative venue for these events!  

Pedestrian access is via the prison's Fothergill St gate, just off Hampton Rd. Free parking on Hampton Rd grass with vehicle entry/exit only via Knutsford St.  

Limited ACROD parking area available by driving in the Fothergill St gate and show pass to security who will advise where to park.
