Make Your Own Picture Book

Make Your Own Picture Book Workshops are part of our Workshop Series.

Although students do not literally make a picture book on the day, this is a superb insight into the creative process. Conducted by one of the Centre's engaging Education Officers, this is the perfect workshop to prepare your students for picture book competitions or develop a sound understanding of the process for Curriculum requirements - primary or secondary!

This interactive workshop will explore the concepts of forming ideas, editing, storyboards, dummy books, layout, illustrations and more.  Students will be inspired by the creative process behind creating picture books and be able to hold, view and analyse a range of great Australian picture books.

We can also tailor this session to your students or class activities.
