If incursions are preferred at your school, please contact us about Literature Workshops using Travelling Picture Book Exhibitions. We have over 25 different Australian picture books to choose from, suitable for all year levels Pre-Primary to Year 12, which can be displayed and workshopped by our TLC Education Officers in schools (or libraries). THE SOUND OF PICTURE BOOKS - Announcing our new feature book at The Literature Centre for 2019 - Dumazi and the Big Yellow Lion by Valanga Khoza and Matt Ottley plus returning after rave reviews in 2018, we have The Incredible Freedom Machines by Kirli Saunders and Matt Ottley.
Don't miss this delightful, interactive experience of story, illustrations, music and drama by presenters Valanga Khoza, Kirli Saunders and Matt Ottley, along with musicians Alf Demasi from Yamaha Australia and the exquisite WASO string quintet. As with previous years, tickets are $12 per student. Dates for schools to book at our Centre, suitable Years 1 to Years 6, include:
