Open Galleries 29 May, 4-8pm - See Shaun Tan’s 'Tales from the Inner City' art and more!

FREE EVENT! We are excited to again open our doors to the public on Wednesday 29 May, 4pm to 8pm, to welcome new visitors and close friends.

$5 OFF ALL BOOKS in our bookshop during the event (excluding books already $5)

 

OPEN GALLERIES EVENING

Shaun Tan’s Tales from the Inner City Exhibition and Open Galleries

Wednesday 29 May, 4pm to 8pm

Gates open from 3.30pm.  

Don’t miss this opportunity to see 8 original paintings and support materials of Shaun Tan’s new book Tales from the Inner City.  These large and truly magnificent must be seen to be believed! 

While students and teachers visit our galleries for Literature Workshops, we're also keen to share these four Australian picture book exhibitions by award-winning creators with the public.

$5 OFF BOOKS AND ART FOR SALE - The Centre’s Bookshop will be open with $5 off all books for this event.  We sell Australian children’s and young adult books including the four books mentioned above. A selection of original picture book artwork and prints can also be purchased, including many from Shaun Tan and other award-winning Australian illustrators.  EFTPOS facilities available.

ALL AGES WELCOME! - Browse through our galleries and bookshop. Entry is free and there are no formal sessions or RSVP's required, simply visit our Centre when you can between 4pm and 8pm on the day.
