Celebrate Reading National Conference - Recap 2018 and Announcing 2019

Following the success of our 2018 Conference, our focus for next year will be on quality Australian children's literature. The conference will suit teachers, librarians, writers, illustrators and literature enthusiasts.

THANK YOU FOR JOINING US IN 2018.... What an incredible two days we experienced together again this year for our 2018 Celebrate Reading National Conference.  Our thanks as always to our presenting authors; to the delegate who soaked up the literary vibes and atmosphere; and to our volunteers, Board members and TLC staff who helped make it a success with their hard-work, irrepressible enthusiasm and presence - we thank you!

Our 7th annual Celebrate Reading National Conference - Insights into Quality Australian Literature for Young Adults will be held from Friday 26 October to Saturday 27 October, 2018.  This fabulous line-up of 9 Australian authors will present our secondary school focused programme over two exciting days:

CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS - Thank you to all who applied. The 29 June deadline has now passed.  Congratulations to Emily Glanville from Rockingham Senior High School and Tyshana McEwen from Como Secondary College!  They will receive a full 2 day registration plus an amazing book pack.  Winners will arrange own transport and accommodation if required.


Please see below our 'Frequently Asked Questions' document.  Note in particular, our offer for a free book from our lucky dip if you can bring along your OWN water bottle to refill at our 3 water stations.  We're reducing the use of plastic waste during our Conference and would love your help!
