If incursions are preferred at your school, please contact us about Literature Workshops using Travelling Picture Book Exhibitions. We have over 25 different Australian picture books to choose from, suitable for all year levels Pre-Primary to Year 12, which can be displayed and workshopped by our TLC Education Officers in schools (or libraries). THE SOUND OF PICTURE BOOKS - In Term 3 The Sound of Picture Books is back, this time with two different books to choose from - one for the first time! From 4-7 September we welcome exciting indigenous author, Kirli Saunders, and her book The Incredible Freedom Machines with illustrations and music composed by Matt Ottley. For an older student audience, we'll also be presenting Home and Away, written by John Marsden with illustrations and music composed by Matt Ottley.

Our 7th annual Celebrate Reading National Conference - Insights into Quality Australian Literature for Young Adults is also coming up in Term 4 at The Literature Centre.
